01. YRESKA

[ while damon's up for an adventure, he doesn't want to lift a finger to help even if he could carry pretty much everything without breaking a sweat.

instead, he installs himself off the side and decides to just supervise, telling people where to go and how to carry their boxes. he's kicked back, feet crossed at the ankle while he looks on, clearly showing off his amazing delegation skills because the stuff's getting done and he's helping.

in his own way.

when the supplies are mostly done and he gets bored, damon wanders off and ends up in the house of mirrors. he rolls his eyes because these are always cute and quaint and typical for a small town carnival.

he whistles as he walks, occasionally seeing other people. when he stops in front of a mirror, he stares at his reflection for a few long moments and watches the reflection turn into something monstrous and bloody.

but it still resembles him and damon actually takes a step back, turning when he hears footsteps and trying to cover the mirror so no one else see.s ]

02. WATER WATER EVERYWHERE

[ the city starts flooding and damon, being the smart person that he is, finds a bar and hitches his legs up on a stool. he doesn't even know how long it's been flooding, he just knows that he doesn't want to deal with it.

while he sits there, he listens to the conversation around him, using his enhanced hearing to listen to people chatter on about dravok and then some other guy, tisk, and how they've both been attacked by something.

finishing his drink, damon sloshes over to one table and slams a hand down on the table. ]

Where's the monster you guys are whining about?

[ once he has his answer, he's on his way to check this out because he can't resist. ]
